Largo and Presto.

But before to our discussion let us first read


our objectives.

At the end of the lesson, the students


are expected to

C Perform a song applying the largo and


presto by group.

D. Discussion

Let us first define tempo.

Tempo is the of directions rate of speed of a


musical piece or passage indicated by one of a
series.

There are two types of tempo, the largo and


presto.
: A largo it is a slow tempo of music.
Who have any idea about largo?

Very good.

Largo is slow tempo.

Example: Lullaby
: Presto it is the fast tempo of music.
Next is Presto how any idea about presto.

Correct!

Presto is a fast tempo.

Example: A rap song

Just like how we sang in the song Deep Deep


Deep, there are some parts that we sang in a
slow tempo which is largo and in a fast tempo
or presto.

Group the class into three groups and let
them perform a concert in which they are
going to perform two songs in tempo of largo
and presto

F. Generalization : Largo is slow tempo.
