DEED OF DONATION AND ACCEPTANCE

This Deed of Donation and Acceptance is made and entered into by and between the:

QUEZON CITY GOVERNMENT, a local government unit, with

office address at Quezon City Hall, Diliman, Quezon City, represented
herein by its City Mayor, MA. JOSEFINA G. BELMONTE, (hereafter,
“DONOR”);
and

PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OF CATANDUANES, a local

government unit, with office address Sta. Elena Rizal Ave., Virac,
Catanduanes, represented herein by its Governor, JOSEPH C. CUA,
(hereafter, “DONEE”).

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, on November 1, 2020, Super Typhoon Rolly ravaged the Bicol

region, hitting the provinces of Catanduanes and Albay the hardest with intense winds,
torrential rain, heavy flooding, and strong lahar flow which destroyed thousands of
homes and displaced thousands of residents;

WHEREAS, the Department of Agriculture in Bicol reported that P1.1 billion

worth of crops were destroyed by the super typhoon, affecting 17,059 hectares with
53,383 metric tons of produce;

WHEREAS, the DONOR, as an act of solidarity, liberality, and generosity,

voluntarily donate food items in favor of the DONEE;

WHEREAS, the DONEE accepts the donation and expresses its gratitude and
appreciation to the DONOR.

NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises and the
covenants hereinafter stipulated, the Parties hereby agree as follows:

1. The DONOR agrees to donate to the Provincial Government of

Catanduanes the following food items in aid of relief efforts to the communities affected
by the onslaught of Super Typhoon Rolly:

a. Five Thousand Five Hundred (5,000) one liter bottles of drinking water
b. Five Hundred (500) sacks of rice
c. Fifty Thousand (50,000) packs of instant noodles; and
d. Twenty Five Thousand Five Hundred (25,000) cans of sardines;

2. The DONEE accepts the donation and expresses its gratitude and
appreciation for the support, kindness, and liberality of the people of Quezon City.

3. The DONEE confirms that it has received the donation in good condition.

4. The DONEE agrees to hold DONOR free and harmless from any and all
liabilities arising from this donation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have signed this Deed of Donation and
