REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR/PROCESS ENGINEER/MAINTANACE SUPERVISOR

DEPARTMENT: PRODUCTION

LOCATION: PLANT

JOB SUMMARY: A material handler maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from
inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Education: Lift Truck certification

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience in facilities and machine shop

Skills: Organization, Scheduling, Analyzing Information, Dealing with Complexity, Deadline-Oriented,


Time Management, Process Improvement, Safety Management, Inventory Control, Lifting, Data
Entry Skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Loading & unloading for receiving and shipping


 Weighing of parts upon receiving when necessary
 Storage of parts in all areas
 Movement of in process bins
 Verify part count when shipping and receiving
 Supply parts to machines when required
 Empty chip bins
 Fill coolant buckets as required
 Clean outside of machines when required
 Maintenance of building and lawn
 Maintenance of machines through the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor
 Tag receiving bins/containers with material tags
 Perform other duties when assigned by the Lead Hand/Supervisor, the Process Eng. And/or the Maintenance
Supervisor
