Role Description
Requirement:
*15-20 years in Aerospace engineering of which 5-10 years in Aerospace Process and Tools
*Previous Leadership experience required
*Configuration Management, Product Change Management, Process & Tool development and deployment
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required
Expectations:
The prime mandate is to support engineering process development to obtain TC and successful EIS of the MRJ
90 and to redefine the PLM processes and tools to modernize them and make them more efficient for future
programs. Finally, you also need to ensure team execution is achieved to support on-going day to day
operational activities such as configuration control, document release, change management, etc.
Scope of Work:
1. Lead the development and deployment of world class, efficient engineering processes and tools that are
integrated seamlessly in to the company business framework.
2. Define Engineering process & Tools development road map which includes short term process adjustments
and long term process consolidation and optimized definition.
3. Provide direction to a diverse team in product change management, configuration management, data release,
process development, Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) development and deployment.
4. Define and control team short and long term targets and objectives.
6.Lead and engage the MITAC organization (engineering, program office, customer support, quality...) to support
process and tool improvements.
8.Develop and meet budget & resource plans within the schedules.
9. Develop employees. Establish individual objectives and monitor their achievement. Provide coaching to
improve knowledge and performance. A special emphasis is required with respect to local employee
development.
