ANSWERS
I am a Student at Weston College studying for an extended diploma in
Creative Media Production level 3. I am also extremely passionate
about history and how it affects our civilisation today so combining
both media and history is something I would love to be able to do.
1. I would say biggest strength is my Chivalrous attitude towards
everything and everyone around me as I will always try to treat
them equally.
2. My biggest weakness is my shyness, but I currently have a job
at The Range which is helping me come out of my shell.
3. A problem I had was during my final year 1 college project as
the brief was changed halfway through the project due to
Covid-19. I overcame this issue by talking to my friends and
family about it all and thinking of a new idea for the new
version of the project.
4. I would like to work in the media industry as I have enjoyed
the behind the scenes of the media industry since I took GCSE
Film Studies in secondary school and it pushed me to start
studying media and enjoy it more.
5. I can bring the boundless energy of youthfulness to the job as I
will always be ready to work on any assignment I am given.
6. A time I needed to work as a team was during college projects
as we needed to work in groups to produce the video for the
project. These groups were often randomized so we wouldn't
only work with friends, which helped as it made me more
confident around everyone in my class.
7. My proudest achievement is my final major project for my first
year of college. This is because I created something I am proud
of as it was about something I'm extremely passionate about.
8. I have experience in operating cameras from GCSE Film
studies as well as college work and college projects, this is
because I often put myself forward for operating the camera.
9. The biggest challenge I've had is moving from Surrey to
Weston super-mare, This is because I was leaving all of my
friends and going to a place that I didn't know anything about.
10. I don't have any concrete plans for my future and I like to take
everything one step at a time so I am able to feel more prepared
for whatever happens
11. I am often inspired by historical figures such as the German
Politician Otto Von Bismarck and Scottish King Robert I. This
is because they never gave up despite the large chances of
failing.
12. Hard-working, because no matter the challenge I'm facing I
will always try to make it the highest quality I can.
Devoted, because I am willing to do anything to make sure a
task is done to the best of my ability and I am willing to learn
Welsh in order to help me advance.
And Passionate, because I have a love of learning about
cultures and what events are happening in the world.
