University of Batangas Art Appreciation students celebrated the Pintakasi

2019. November 25, 2019, 8am-12nn at UB Culture and Arts Building happened
the seminar wherein three inspiring speakers was invited namely Mr. Joshua
Villena, Mr. Angelito Masarap, and Mr. Carlo Bonn Hornilla.

The first speaker, Mr. Joshua Villena, an artist who received plenty of
awards talks about his experience and his life as an artist and as a student like us.
“Minsan kung ano ang pangit sa mata natin yun pa yung maganda sa paningin ng
iba”, he says. He wants us to believe on ourselves, on our capacity, and on our
talents we have within us. The second speaker was Mr. Carlo Bonn Hornilla who
has his video of “Adik” got viral. He talks about the spoken word poetry itselfs, the
difference betweek spoken words, spoken poetry, hugots, and the spoken word
poetry. He made me realized that changes on your life depends on you, on your
own choices. And the last speaker is own very own, Mr. Angelito T. Masarap that
show us and taught us the calligraphy. “Everyone is an artist we just have our own
little ways on how we show it”, he says that inspired me to look for the hidden
talents we have within me, to develop it.
 This seminar taught me and made me realized that we are all artist on our
own way. It is just the matter of how we express and show it. Believe on ourselves
because there’s no one that will do that except from you.
