1. Measure the I-V characteristics of DC power supply limited by a current (Imax):

After connecting the circuit shown in Figure below fills the tables below and answer the
following question:

 For Imax = 130 mA, Vso=10.4 V (Practical)

R1 (Ω) (1000)
400 200 100 80 60 40 20 1

Vout (V)
Is (mA)

 For Imax= 200 mA, Vso=20 V (TinkerCAD)

R1 (Ω) (1000)
500 250 125 100 75 50 25 1

Vout (V)
Is (mA)

● Insert the TinkerCAD circuit.

2. Circuit Loading By Measurement Instruments.

1. Ammeter Loading:

 After connecting the circuit shown in Figure below, fill the below Values and answer the
following questions:

 Measure R Using DMM (Practical) ……..

 Record current (I) by DMM2 (Practical) …..
 Move the voltmeter to measure:

Va =……………………………….

Vr =………………………………

Va ra(Ω)=Va/I

2. Voltmeter Loading:-

After connecting the circuit shown in Figure below, fill the below Values and answer the
following questions:

 V2= …………..

 R1(measured)=……………….

 R2(measured)=……………….

 Calculate the equivalent resistance of the voltmeter using the measured values of R1 and R2.

Hint Assume:

(RDMM//R2)=Req

(Req/(Req+R1))*Vs=V2
