Introduction
& Time

The teacher will start the lesson, by reviewing the rules of class, she will say make sure to
20 min mute your microphone and turn off your camera, be in quiet, answer with the teacher. Then
the teacher will open the National anthem.

Teacher will example the key words:

Dividend: is the number you are dividing
Divisor: this is the number we are dividing by
Quotient: the answer
For example, 153=5
15 is a dividend
3 is a divisor
5 is a quotient
Teacher will show them video: how they going to divide using number line.
Model:
Teacher will write a word problem:

teacher will highlight the key information in the word problem, for example,
15 dresses in equal numbers of red, blue, yellow,3 colors. Then teacher will write
the equation 153=

Teacher will say, to solve this equation will use number line

 First, we start from the dividend on the number line which is 15.
 Second, we skip count by the divisor which is 3 backwards till you reach 0.
 Third, the number of skips taken to reach 0 is the quotient which is 5.
That mean 153=5

Main activities
& Time
15min

Students will solve different word problems and division equation using number line.
Teacher will explain that first number in the equation is the number will start on the
number line, second is the skip counting, the number of jump is the answer.
