Comments:
Fatima design, write and plans her lesson by taking the KG learning outcomes and using it throughout
her lesson. Fatima collaborates with the MST to ensure that the lesson plan includes strategies and
methods for each subject or topic.
Managing Learning F D C B A
Comments:
Fatima demonstrates the ability to manage transitions between teaching her lesson and the activities
during class.
• Fatima started with the class by greeting them, and she asked them to go to the chat and go
to the Whiteboard. She asks the teacher to record the lesson to make sure the observer
could see the entire lesson. However, the observer was already in the class.
• She introduces the classroom rules, which was appropriate, and students understood her
expectation.
• She gave the class information on the patterns. She explains the keywords and explains
factors and products.
• Fatima explains and demonstration the review multiplication table. She explains the
multiplication video about a table, which was appropriate. Fatima stopped the video and used
the correct terminology, and explained it to the students.
• A parent joined in and asked a question. Fatima explained in English first, then she responded
in Arabic, which was appropriate.
• Fatima to maintain an effective classroom presence
• Do not let students call you Habla; make sure they call you by their name Ms. Fatima or the
proper Arabic name for a teacher.
• Fatima needs to be consistent in applying strategies to manage student behavior by
reminding them of the online rules.
Implementing Learning F D C B A
Comments:
• Fatima used Arabic names, for example, which was appropriate on her PowerPoint slides.
During the lesson, she introduced multiplication. Students were looking for the multiplication
table in the book.
• Suggestion: Take time to implement the multiplication tables in two ways, Frist, by giving
students a multiplication table and practicing on their live sheet. Second, then explain it is in
the book. This observer could not also understand if the multiplication table was in the book
until Ms. Fatima gave them the information almost at the end of the lesson.
Fatima proceeds on teaching the steps on how to find the answer on the multiplication table. The
lesson was taught for the average students when you circle the first five in color.
• Suggestion, you could have a lower level students tell you the other five colors. This would
have been a great way to assess if they understood how to find the answer.
Most of the students understood the table. At the end of class, almost all of the students could find
the answer.
• Ensure all students log in to Whiteboard; if a student can't log in, have them share their
screen that might help the others; however, students could share in the chat. Nice, you show
the example of the full multiplication center. Some students are yelling out the wrong
answer; some said 45, and two said 54; make sure you go over if someone says the wrong
answer. Nahyan said the wrong answer. Call on students so you can hear their answers to be
able to assess if they understand.
Summarize the lesson you taught is fundamental. As a teacher, you need to close, not just having the
students assist on the time table.
• Question what happens a student can't understand it completed; this is why you have to
summarize and close your lesson. Make sure you explain the live worksheet because
students did not have any direction. That is why your students explain they did not
understand.
• Make sure to explain the independent activity the wheel showing an example will help
students who did not understand.
• Fatima used a variety of effective teaching and learning techniques in learning outcomes.
Assessment F D C B A
Comments:
• Fatima can monitor students' progress using the Whiteboard, but Fatima needs to extend her
questions to be more challenging for the higher students by using Bloom's Taxonomy. Higher-
order thinking. Fatima develops and applies appropriate monitoring strategies during her
teaching sessions.
Reflection on Practice F D C B A
Comments:

Fatima can:
• Identify, apply and reflect on strategies, which will improve lesson delivery
• Recognize strengths and weaknesses
• Able to reflect on the lesson taught and justification of student learning outcomes
Fatima needs to demonstrate a growing ability to link theory and practice through her reflection.
Action Plan:
• Fatima needs to be consistent in applying strategies to manage student behavior
• Ensure all students on every level understand the lesson by differentiation
• Extend her questioning for the higher-level students
