Commitment to the Profession F D C B A

Comments:

The teacher followed her lesson plan.

The lesson plan was submitted on time.

No issues on punctuality in TP attendance were recorded. The teacher was online minutes before her
time.

Ahlam checked the class attendance prior to anything else in her lesson that day, by asking each of her
students in class---what a beautiful way of checking the attendance!!!

Reminding the pupils of proper behaviour during the class proceeding was observed.
Planning for Learning F D C B A
A detailed lesson plan was prepared by Ahlam. It showed what she was going to do and what the
learners were to do as well.

The objective of her lesson plan made use of word NAME which is a measurable verb. This goes
without saying that the Bloom Taxonomy insofar as the measurable verbs are concerned was adhered
to.

All activities were student-centered.

The lesson was well-taught and organized. Each step of the way made the students pick up the lesson
or point at hand. There were pre-reading, reading, and post reading activities to process the selection.
Managing Learning F D C B A
Comments:

Constant monitoring as to whether students could see or hear what she is sharing with the class.

1
The teacher had good sense of time management. Her pupils were duly reminded on the remaining
time to accomplish their group tasks.

Ahlam’s voice tone, quality, pitch, and loudness have good impact on her teaching.

Enough preparation and motivation activities were provided to her learners. Praising the students for a
job well done was observed all throughout her teaching. It was also a means to encourage further
student participation.

Rewards were given to the pupils through class Dojo.

Implementing Learning F D C B A
Comments:

Use of digital materials was employed.

The presentation phase of her lesson made use of a video presentation on common and proper nouns.
The teacher paused the video once in a while to process it.

Student participation was maximized. The class was very participative in her activities and attentive to
her explanation/discussion.

Abstraction and comparison of common and proper nouns were manifested through differentiating
examples of nouns.

It was just right to make the pupil volunteer to explain his/her answer to gauge understanding.

In no case was the teacher observed to have bought answers to her questions. Excellent! This practice
must continue as this will teach pupils to be thinking individuals in the classroom.

A good amount of teaching strategies was utilized in the teaching-learning process.

Assessment F D C B A
Comments:
Questions varied ranging from lower order thinking skills to the higher one.

Enough activities were implemented to carry out the objective of the lesson.

Feedback was given and processed so well in that students were able to realize what made their
answers right or wrong.

Reflection on Practice F D C B A
Comments:

As a Semester 7 student, Ahlam is so familiar with the flow of the lesson. Activities are planned so
well in a way that the pupils could easily do what she asked them to perform.
