Commitment to the Profession F D C B A

Comments:
Fatima showed professionalism responded to my email promptly.
She took the initiative to coordinate with me to gain access to her class. Fatima arrives on time for her online learning.
When Fatima has questions about how her MST wants her to teach the lesson, she converses with her MST on What's app
and email. Fatima has explained that she took the Covid 19 test to meet with her teacher to discuss the lesson she will be
teaching if she needs to.

Planning for Learning F D C B A

Comments:
Fatima uses the lesson-planning template to design and plan her Math lessons. When Fatima has questions about how her
MST wants her to teach the lesson, she consults with her MST. Fatima had a well thought out lesson; however, she only
planned for 45 minutes and the last 15 minutes were demonstration about the multiplications facts and quizzes. In Fatima's
lesson plan, her personal goal was time management; however, she did not write any time increments indicating she was
working on time. Fatima adapted her materials and aligned them with the MOE teaching online teaching tools.

Managing Learning F D C B A
Comments:
For the first 10 minutes, the observer did not know there were girls in the classroom. Students knew to raise their hands
how there was no consistency when calling upon students. Fatima demonstrates maintaining the ability to manage
transitions between activities; however, she needs to explain moving from one activity to another. Going to the quiz was not
clear instructions, so students had problems with the transition.
Implementing Learning F D C B A
Comments:
 Fatima needs to turn on her camera to start a transition and teach a new concept when giving instructions.
 However, if you are teaching an English lesson, turn on your camera at all times. English Second Language
Learners need to see her facial expression and mouth when pronouncing the words and sounds and learning a
new concept or topic.
 Fatima needs to employ various questioning and elicitation techniques more effectively instead of just using one
informal assessment, such as the "WH" questions.
 There should be rules in place to manage students calling out and not giving others a chance.
 Fatima will have to slowly give other students longer "wait time to answer the question and tell everyone to mute
their microphones.
 Fatima effectively taught online learning skills in the classroom; she could use the tools to show students Math
equations. Be mindful of your cursive at times; it seemed out of control moving around the screen.
 While using the video, she would stop and explain.
 The class time was only 45 minutes, and the Math class was for one hour.
 Glad you had a plan B; however, it wasn't sufficient. If the class is a one-hour long preparation for the class, don't
worry about the observer.
 Make sure to use all of the class time but do not go over; students were getting anxious.
 Use a range of resources creatively to extend teaching and learning opportunities during online in the classroom as
appropriate

Assessment F D C B A
Comments:
Develop and apply appropriate monitoring strategies during teaching sessions using wh questions; however, there were no
checks and balances to call upon four students to share screen and show their work. The online quiz is not enough as a
teacher is formative in assessing the students.

Reflection on Practice F D C B A
Comments:
Fatima's reflection was more of a list, and her questions were still on the paper. A reflection is written work that is a steadily
growing document, and the student-teacher writes to record their learning progress. A reflective journal is not a summary
of the course material and how she did the lessons. She needs to identify, apply, and reflect on strategies, which will
improve lesson delivery. I expect a written reflection with sentences and paragraph formal APA 6th edition style writing.

 What we were discussing the action feedback both from the MST and MCT.
 Demonstrate a growing ability to link theory and practice
 Able to reflect on the lesson taught and justification of student learning outcomes

Action Plan:
 Work on explaining transitions
 Follow up on quizzes and answers
 Have students demonstrate and explain their work
 Time management
