Surface parking:
EXTERIOR • Two wheeler parking has been provided at the front of the mall
• The exterior of the Mall have been designed in a placid manner to soothe the visual
senses of the patrons.
• Painted in lively color combinations.
• Being environment friendly and safety conscious has been the priority while
considering the design of facilities / service features in the Mall.

EXTERIOR CIRCULATION
• There are two different gates for entry and exit.
• The pavements on the side of the building are
• 5m wide.
• the main approach is through national highway 95.
• Ramp: Provision of ramps is given to park the vehicles in all the basements.
• Width 2500mm Slope 1:10 Basement parking:
• Provision of parking for the visitors is provided in the basement.
• To approach the basement parking ramps have been provided.
• Three basements cater the parking.

HORIZANTAL CIRCULATION
• Main entrance area is 7m wide with a ramp having slope of 1:12 for handicapped people.
• Corridor of 3.2m at each floor.

VERTICAL CIRCULATION
• Escalator at each floor serve for vertical circulation.
• 2 public staircase at each floor.
• Along with 2 lifts and 1 service lift 5 service staircase at lower ground floor which
reduces to 1 at other levels.

LIGHTING
Both natural and artificial lightings are provided to illuminate the interiors of the mall:
Natural Lighting:
• Natural light in the interiors is received through the sunlight.
• Central courtyard is well lighted with the indirect sun light by cutting the direct
glare with the sheet on top.

PLUMBING SERVICES
• Building is getting its water supply from municipal water supply.
• Pump room is provided in third basement.
• All the westend malls have effluent treatment plant ( etp ) which collects the waste
water from different restaurants in the premises and give them biological aerobic
treatment. after treatment, the water flows in to the main municipality sewer and then
goes in to the river. water animals life is saved through this process.

ELECTRICAL SERVICES
• Whole electricity control is through electrical room in third basement.
• Generator provision is there in the third basement too.
• Two transformers of 2500 kva is installed in third basement.
• Design of the complete distribution system is such that maximum voltage drop at the
farthest point from the transformers is restricted to 5% which is in compliance with the Water pipe going on through basement and is

AIR CONDITIONING
• Air conditioning control is also through the third basement itself.
• Air conditioning ducts are running throughout the basements.

• Main plant consists of 4 nos. water cooled screw chiller, 3 nos. chilled water pumps
(one standby), 3 nos. condenser water pumps (one standby) along with 6 nos.
cooling tower (one standby).
• Main plant is located at terrace with a total tonnage refrigeration of 1600 tonnes and
chilled water from the main plant is supplied to air handling units located at various
floors.

FIRE FIGHTING
• In this building, there is provision of detection of fire hazards via smoke andheat
detectors as well as provision of protection by use of sprinklersystem.
• At regular intervals, the fire fighting equipment has been endorsed for safety against
fire hazards.
• In the basement, two water storage tanks with a capacity of 2 Lakh liters each have been
provided for adequate availability of water at any time of the day for fire fighting.
• These are pumped to overhead tank from where water is carried by pipe toall FHCs by
gravitational force.

FIRE HYDRANTS:
• Wet risers shall be tapped from ring main and run along the
shaft.

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS:
• Portable type class A,B&C fire extinguishers are provided at all fire sensitive
places.
• In Basements the water curtains are made according to zones which activate
automatically in case of fire. Also these prevent smoke & fire to spread from one
zone to another.

AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM:


• Sprinkler System is provided in basement and upper floor areas except electrical
rooms.
• The water supply to all the sprinklers is from over-head tank as well as the
underground water storage tank.

design of facilities / service features in theMall.

• Wide ramps along with stairs and handicapped friendly conveniences, well equipped with requisite
utilities have been provided for physically challenged Patrons, Patrons with temporary disability of
mobility and Senior Citizens visiting the Mall and/or the Cinemas.

• The Mall has installed Sewerage Treatment Plant of the latest technology whereby it can convert the
sewerage into soft water and the treated water can be used to meet air-conditioning requirement and
horticultural purpose. It is also equipped with Rain Water Harvesting system.

• Further, the Mall is equipped with state-of-the-art security systems and latest technology in fire
safety measures have been adopted for fire detection and fire fighting in the Mall, as the Group
believes in not compromising with humansafety and security.

• Two of the floors at the Mall are specially dedicated to Food Court and Fine Dining restaurants where
the patrons can enjoy variety of Indian and International authentic cuisines.
