Academic Performance of Senior High School Students in Escuela De Sophia of Caloocan, Inc

This chapter covers the research methodology including the research design, the

research

setting, the instruments used and the research method that assisted the researchers who

carried

out this study.

RESEARCH DESIGN

In order to see the difference in the impacts of prepaid internet connection and
postpaid internet connection to the academic performance in the senior high school students
of Escuela de Sophia Caloocan, Inc. The researchers used the purposive sampling and
correlational survey as a method.

As a correlational study, it collected detailed and factual information to differentiate


internet connections in the effects in academic performance. It systematically compared the
prepaid and postpaid internet factually and accurately. It allowed the researchers to carefully
describe and understand the connection of each internet connection. This study was
correlational for it demanded the degree to which the variables were related to each other
using various statistical instruments.
