II. SUMMARY

This journal wants to emphasize on diabetes mellitus which is the epidemic of the century and without
effective diagnostic methods at an early stage, diabetes will continue to rise. This review focuses on the types of
diabetes and the effective diagnostic methods and criteria to be used for diagnosis of diabetes and prediabetes.
The major advances in the molecular understanding of diabetes in relation to the different types of diabetes in
comparison to the previous understanding in this field
And in our advanced knowledge of the association between medical genetics and the chronic complications of
diabetes, will provide an additional advantage to delay or eradicate these complications that impose an immense
pressure on patient’s quality of life and the significantly rising cost of health-care services.

III. NURSING IMPLICATIONS

A. To Nursing Practice
I believe this can journal is very informative and relevant to give us data readings that is clear and
understandable. It contributes a big percentage upon readers and it gives out important information and why it is
its important for us to know what the diabetes are and how our advanced knowledge on it provided additional
advantages to help in the delay and eradication of the complications it can impose to a patient may it be life of
health care services.

B. To Nursing Education

I believe this journal is very informative and educative at the same time because it displays important information
about what to know of Diabetes Mellitus how and why we were able to provide advance effective methods that
help it in delaying its complication. It could be helpful to enlighten students and other nursing professions so that
they can have a updated idea on how medical health providers are able to establish a way to help reduce the
complication towards patients with Diabetes Mellitus and the like

C. To Nursing Research
This journal is only limited to diabetic patients and prediabetic patients but it is okay on my part because the
focus is primarily on patients with Diabetes Mellitus. I believe the contribution of this study is a great addition on
medical researches and other conceptualized studies. I believe it is informative enough on its own but adding a
bit more information would work out too

IV. PERSONAL INSIGHTS

.
I personally like this study because it is very understandable and helpful especially towards a nursing student like me, I find it
helpful to others and I agree with what it proclaims towards the case of the epidemic of Diabetes and the other types it has.
