1. How does technology change the lives of people?

Technology change the lives of the people by making the works of the
humanity easier because of the advancements of technology it is easier
for the people to live, spreading or delivering information and because of
this other people became lazy and just really depend on technology like
they can’t live without it.

2. How is the current teaching-learning process different from before?

The current teaching-learning process different from before

because in the past we usually don’t have that kind of high technologies
that we can use in education and we focus more in face to face learning
but now we have medias that we can use.

3. Why should one adapt to the changing times?

One should adapt to the changing time because not all the time you will
just stick to something that is not working anymore why not move to
something that’s very easy and advance so you will not be left out.
4. How can one achieve creative and critical thinking skills?
One can achieve creative and critical thinking skills if he/she knows how
to evaluate and analyze a certain information. If you are a media and
information literate individual you can achieve creative and critical
 thinking skills because these characteristics are in that kind of
individual.

5. If you are to develop an invention for a deaf and blind individual, which among
the emerging trends and technology best suits them? Why?
If I will develop an invention for a deaf and blind individual, it would be
haptic technology, I will build smartphones just for them to use. In that
smartphone it will have a text speech built into it by default, because
they need to what they’re searching for or doing with the smartphone.
And also I will create a smartphone that has bumps into it like a braille
phone so that they can navigate a location easily.

6. If you are to study the eye movement of learners for your research about
reading strategies, what is the best emerging trend and technology to use?
The emerging trend and technology to use would be the eye tracking
technology like Tobii pro glasses because it can track eyes of course, so
that they can able to understand human behavior.

7. If you are looking for directions, would you consult a physical map or a
navigation app using your smartphone? Why?
If I am looking for directions I will use a navigation app using my
smartphone because we all know that navigation apps like google map is
very advance you can even see the place that you are trying to locate
because they have satellites they can capture the place from above and it
will be easier for you to go the place when you don’t know the directions.

8. Is the voice and tone recognition feature in digital banking a good or bad
alternative for added security? Why or why not?
For me, it’s bad because some people can copy your voice because of
the advancements of their technology and all of your savings to your
bank will be gone. There’s a lot of people who are smart and sometimes
they use their intelligence to steal money.
9. Why is a MOOC a good alternative in pursuing one’s continuing professional
development?
 MOOC is a good alternative in pursuing one’s continuing professional
development because anyone can join and they are focusing into
something a person who is capable in a certain course, they are making
you into something that you are capable of, so it will be easier for you in
the future.

10. If you are to enroll in an MOOC, what topic would you enroll in? Why?
If I were to enroll in a MOOC, I would enroll in Civil Engineering topic,
because I really like to become a civil engineer someday. I want to
develop my skills and experience there in MOOC.

11. If you want to learn a foreign language, will you enroll in an MOOC or in a
regular class in a language center? Why?
If I want to learn a foreign language, I will enroll in a regular class in a
language center because they are made for that kind of subject and I
could really understand it better.

12. Do you prefer self-paced or instructor-paced instruction? Why?

I prefer instructor-paced instruction because it’s better if I am the one
who is listening because there are still a lot of things that I don’t know
and for now I am the listener, I need to listen in order to learn.

13. Should MOOCs replace textbooks? Why or why not?

MOOC should not replace textbooks because textbooks help a lot of
people and you can’t just replace it like it’s not there. Textbooks are way
better although I know that it’s hard but it gives the reader more
knowledge and it gives them patience.

14. Why should you apply for a patent?

We should apply for a patent so that our own inventions cannot be
imitated by someone or plagiarize it that will lose our life’s work.

15. Why is building a prototype the longest phase in creating and reinventing a
product?
Building a prototype takes the longest phase in creating and reinventing
a product because it requires time and effort. It requires mathematical
solutions and something to make the invention better.
