Materials & Notions:
 Use any DK weight yarn for body and edging.
(I used Rowan, Handknit Cotton DK, green/pink color, DK weight, approximately 530
yards, and Rowan, Handknit Cotton DK, white color, approximately 360 yards.)

Tools:
 Knitting Needles, US 7 & US 5  Tapestry needle
 U.S. G/6 (4.00 mm) crochet hook  Stitch markers (18)

Gauge:
 Approximately 4.25 sc = 1 inch (Move up / down hook size to obtain gauge)

Abbreviations Used:
 k knit (RS flat, WS raised)  hdc half double crochet
 p purl (RS raised, WS flat)  tr treble (triple) crochet
 ch chain  L/B/R Left/ Bottom/ Right
 sc single crochet  sl st slip stitch
 dc double crochet  join use slip stitch to join

Finished Size:
 Approximately 35 x 34.5 inches (Body size 29 x 28.5 inches)

Recommend Stitch Markers during Edging

Avoid miscounts with Stitch Markers in each corner chain

Notes for reading this pattern:

1. Stitches without a number = 1 stitch. Example: sc, dc, sc = 1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc.
2. A number followed by a stitch, needs to be worked over that number of stitches.
Example: “6 dc” means 1 dc in each of the next 6 stitches.
3. “Repeat from * X times” means to repeat all stitches written ‘after’ the asterisk (*)
until the word ‘repeat’ (as a set) for X number of times specified.
4. Sometimes “space” may be written as “sp”... as in “sc in next ch-5 sp.”
