“The Effects of Pandemic Crisis in the Reduction of Crime Rate in
the Municipal of Dolores, Quezon”
Rationale

The Philippines has already experienced different pandemic


event that affects the health and security of the citizens.
Pandemic event affects the crime rate around the world and that
the possible lessening of crime rate in the society is valuable.
Thus, this study aims to determine the effects in the decrease of
crime rate during pandemic events such as the Swine Influenza
(A/H1N1) or Swine Flu, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS)
and Corona Virus 2019 (Covid19).

Objectives of the Study


This study aims to comparatively analyze the crime rate
during pandemic events. Specifically to determine the pandemic
event that affects crime rate, the effects of the pandemic event
in the reduction of crime rate, and the most common crime
committed during pandemic events.
Statement of the Problem
1. What are the pandemic events that affect the crime rate
in Dolores, Quezon?
2. What are the effects of pandemic event in the reduction
of crime rate?
3. What is the most common crime committed during pandemic
events?
Research Design and Methodology
Qualitative Method through Comparative Analysis Research Design
will be used in this study since it sought to determine the effects of
epidemic events in the reduction of crime rate in Dolores, Quezon.

Population and Locale of the Study


This research study will be conducted in the Municipality of
Dolores, Quezon. Crime rates and statistics from Dolores Police
Station will be used as the basis of the study.

“Preparedness of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology


during Pandemic Events in San Pablo City”

Rationale

The Philippines has already experienced different pandemic


event that affects the health and security of persons deprived of
liberty. Thus, the BJMP in San Pablo City shall provide measures
and strategies to prevent the similar events. Thus, this study
aims to determine the proactive measures of Bureau of Jail
Management and Penology to ensure the health and security of the
PDL during pandemic events.

Objectives of the Study

This study aims to analyze the proactive measures of Bureau


of Jail Management and Penology to ensure the health and the
security of the Person’s Deprived of Liberty. Precisely to
determine the preparations made in the BJMP during pandemic
events, the impact of the proactive measures in the Person’s
Deprived of Liberty, health care and supplements.

Statement of the Problem


1. What are the proactive measures of the BJMP to fight he
pandemic events?
2. What are the procedures made in the execution of
proactive measures in the BJMP during pandemic events?

Methods and Design

This study will use quantitative method through descriptive


research design since it sought to determine the preparation made
by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology to protect the
Person’s Deprived of Liberty with their health care, supplements
and status.

Locale and Population of the Study

This research study will be conducted in Bureau of Jail


Management and Penology in City of San Pablo, Laguna. Jail
officers and Person’s Deprived of Liberty from BJMP San Pablo
City are specifically selected as the respondents of this study.
The said Respondents will be selected using convenient sampling
because the collection of data will be facilitated in short
duration of time.

“The Prevalence of Teenage Pregnancy Due to Enhanced Community
Quarantine (ECQ) cause by the Pandemic Crisis”
Rationale
Quarantine is a strict isolation imposed to prevent the
spread of disease. A period, originally 40 days, of detention or
isolation imposed upon ships, persons, animals, or plants on
arrival at a port or place, when suspected of carrying some
infectious or contagious disease.
Thus, during the pandemic crisis, the increase of possible
early pregnancy is expected due to lockdown and home quarantine.
The numbers of pregnancy in Barangay Santisimo Rosario are
expected to increase which may affect the health and education of
the teenager. Pregnant girls often drop out of school, limiting
opportunities for future employment and perpetuating the cycle of
poverty. In many cases, girls perceive pregnancy to be a better
option than continuing their education.
Objectives of the Study
This study aims to determine the prevalence of early
pregnancy during quarantine or lockdown period. Specifically, to
determine the effect of early pregnancy among pregnant women, the
reasons that prompted them to get pregnant in early age, and the
rate of early pregnancy during quarantine period.

Statement of the Problem


1. What causes teenage pregnancy?
2. What are the casualties of being pregnant in such young
age?
3. What are the rate of early pregnancy increase in terms of
age of:
1.1 15-16 years old
1.2 17-18 years old
1.3 19-20 years old
Research Design and Methodology
The researcher will be using Qualitative method through case
study research design since it sought to determine the prevalence
of teenage pregnancy during quarantine period.
Locale and Population of the Study
This research study will be conducted in the Barangay of
Santisimo Rosario located in the City of San Pablo, Laguna. This
place was selected for knowing that this is one of the places in
San Pablo City where the large number of pregnant teenagers are
involved. The chosen citizens of barangay Santisimo Rosario are
purposively selected as the participants of this study.
