General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

This General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to the PLC Wallet app offered by PLC
Group AG (hereinafter: PLC Group AG). PLC Group AG attaches particular importance to the
General Data Protection Regulation. Since citizens of the European Union can also use the
PLC Wallet App, the following provisions apply. In the following, the user will find
information on which data is collected during registration or use of the PLC Wallet App and
how it is used, processed or passed on. This General Data Protection Regulation (together
with our General Terms of Use and other documents referred to therein) sets out the basis
on which we process the personal data that we collect from you or that you transmit to us.
Please read these General Data Protection Regulation carefully.

For the assertion of the rights named in this data protection declaration or for questions
regarding the use, collection or processing of personal data, the user should contact the data
protection officer named above.

PLC Group AG, as the body responsible according to the data protection regulations,
undertakes to protect the personal data and privacy of its users and to treat them
confidentially. The collection, storage, modification, transmission, blocking, deletion and use
of personal data is carried out on the basis of the applicable legal provisions, in particular the
General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
At PLC Group AG, user data is protected by technical and organizational security measures
against access by unauthorized persons, accidental or intentional manipulation, destruction
or loss.

I. Data processing during usage of the PLC Wallet App

In order to best protect your transmitted data, PLC Group AG uses SSL encryption and TLS
encryption as part of the PLC Wallet app. All data that you transmit to the servers of PLC
Group AG within the framework of the use of the app - e.g. for enquiries or logins - cannot
be read by third parties due to these encryptions.
1. Reasons on which the processing of data is based

The applicable EU data protection law stipulates that the processing of personal data is only
lawful if it is based on one of the grounds set out in Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 GDPR. PLC Group
AG is obliged to disclose the reason with regard to any processing of personal data. Reasons
that authorize us to process your personal data are:

● Consent: The consent you have given us to process your personal data (you
voluntarily provide us with an express, informed consent for such use and may
revoke your consent under the circumstances set out below).

● Contract fulfillment: The processing of your personal data is necessary for the
conclusion and/or fulfillment of our contract with you (e.g. a usage contract via our
app).

● Legal obligation: We must process your personal data in order to comply with our
legal obligations.

● Legitimate interests: We have a legitimate interest in the processing of your personal


data and this interest prevails.

● Legal claims: The processing of your personal data by us is necessary in order to


defend, pursue or assert a claim against you or a third party.

2. Data provided by the user

(1) Before you install our app on your mobile device, a pre-registration by the user is
conducted when purchasing one of the PLATIN GENESIS products (e.g. the PLC Farm).
To use the app an authorization process is required for which a login name and
password is needed.

We process this data for the purpose of fulfilling a user contract via our App. The
legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR.

(2) Log files of software processes are also transferred to the PLC Group AG servers in
order to carry out error evaluation. This data processing takes place in accordance
with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of fulfilling the contract of use for
the App.

3. Data automatically collected by the PLC Group AG

With respect to each of your visits to our website or app, we may automatically collect the
following information; however, this information may not be used to identify you:

● device-specific data, such as the hardware model, version of operating system,


unique device identifier, and mobile network information;
● technical information about your smartphone, including your IP address, operating
system and browser type, country and language, if any, for system administration
and analysis purposes;

● Details of your visits to our app, including the entire Uniform Resource Locator (URL)
clickstream to, through and from our app (including date and time), duration of visits
to certain pages and page interaction data (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse overs),
date of registration;

● information showing us from which app store you downloaded our app(s), and

● The exact amount of PlatinCoins of the individual user is saved on the PLC Wallet.

4. Disclosure of your data to third parties

We may share your personal information with our service providers and business partners to
assist us in fulfilling a contract we enter into with you, including the provision of the App.

(1) When using our App, we are in contact with third parties who may provide certain
information about you to us in order to enable your use of the App. Contract processing
agreements have been concluded with these third parties so that they are also obliged to
comply with the requirements of the GDPR. This data processing is carried out for the
purpose of fulfilling the contract. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1
lit. b GDPR.

(2) In addition, we track your interaction with the app offered by PLC Group AG
anonymously. This tracking is limited to your interaction with the PLC Wallet app. We use
this information to further improve the services of the PLC Group AG and the information
collected is used solely for internal purposes and is not sold or shared with third parties. The
legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR.

5. Duration of data storage

(1) PLC Group AG shall store the data collected from users as long as the user uses the PLC
Wallet App service or until the user has deleted his account, whichever comes first. The User
may delete his account at any time by using the "Delete Account" in-app function.

(2) If the user deletes his account, all data that the PLC Group AG no longer requires to
operate and provide its services shall be deleted from the servers. If the user deletes the PLC
Wallet App from his device without deleting his account, the data collected from the user
will be stored only for as long as the user's interest in deletion does not predominate.
Subsequently, this data shall also be deleted. In addition, the PLC Group AG must store some
personal data due to legal requirements.
II Rights of the user as affected person

The users have the right to:

- information on the processing of their data


- correction or deletion of their data
- Restriction of processing
- Contradiction against the processing
- data portability
- Withdrawal of your given consent with effect for the future to support@plc-group-ag.com
- Complaint to a data protection supervisory authority
