Observe the teaching aids and devices used by the demo-teacher. 
List down the teaching aids and devices used in the demonstration teaching. Complete
the table by listing down how the teacher utilized each teaching aids.

learning styles of many students who are visual
learners.

Children love mascots and it is very effective in

(Quadrilateral and Triangle) moment they are thinking of it they will not be
forgotten that quadrilaterals are four-sided
shapes.

He provided his students a very student-

centered visual aids because while discussing
Creative Visual Aids the lesson the students can use it to participate
in the discussion.

Instead of the typical question “What we have

discussed yesterday?”
Games He used the game titled “Who Am I” to
recapitulate the previous lesson that his students
enjoyed. So, the anxiety of the students turns to
enjoyment.
 The art of teaching is the most important
Teacher’s Teaching Style teaching aids in the classroom. On how he is
going to use his holistic personality to deliver
the lesson properly and skillfully.

Activity 2
My Observations
After listing down and identifying how the teaching aids and devices were used, it’s time
for you to answer some questions that would give a deeper understanding of what
you’ve observed.

1. Were the teaching aids and devices effectively utilized in the class? Justify your
answer.

The teaching aids and devices used by Sir Joe are effectively used, it would not be the
best demo if he didn’t and based on his students' reaction it was utilized appropriately
and competently. The students have no time to do unnecessary things while he was
discussing because he manages to use all of the teaching aid and devices he have in
that class.

2. What do you think are the problems met by the teacher in using the teaching
aids/devices in the class? If you were the facilitating teacher, how would you handle it?

It is the best demo as indicated in the title of the video but it doesn’t mean that there is
no mistake. One thing that captured my attention was during the game on how he
responded to the wrong answer of the student. The student answered the question
wrong, he just pointed out that the answer of his student is wrong but he didn’t say
anything that would make his student feel relief. If I am the teacher I would say, “Oh!
Nice try Cynthia but sorry your answer is wrong. As a teacher especially in grade
school, we must not forget this simple act on how we are going to handle such situation.
