2020 Yearbook
Dear Members,
It is my pleasure to present the section’s yearbook for the year 2020-2021. I am happy to share that we have stepped into the 5th
Year of ASNT India Section. The 2019-2020 fiscal year started well, and the section focused on conducting many technical programs
for the members. Due to the Pandemic we had to stop doing in-person meetings from March 2020, but the section never stopped its
activities. From March 2020 when the whole country was under lockdown the section announced its first ever online meeting in May
2020 and conducted regular technical trainings once a week. I would like to mention these online meetings got huge response from
all ASNT members in the Region 19. Members who have not attended in-person meetings also attended online meetings. Lockdown
never stopped India Section in getting its GOLD Award from Presidents Award Program of ASNT.
I dedicate full credit to the members of this section for their continuous support throughout the past 4 years. We have organised 50+
technical talks till date and we now have 600+ members affiliated with ASNT India Section. A special thanks to Mr. Marwan, Regional
Director for his support as always, and to Mr. Sebastian, Director of Board, ASNT and to Debbie, Section Coordinator for her support.
The section is focused in conducting many technical programs online in the days to come. The section welcomes the ASNT members
all over India to come forward and support the section activities. ASNT local sections start and stay healthy when members like you
are involved.
