FIGHTING FOR WHAT IS RIGHT & SAVING THE INNOCENT LIVES:

DISCOVERING THE TRUTH BEYOND THE JUSTICE SYSTEM

OF THE PHILIPPINES
(PURPOSE)
Some Filipinos tend to disregard their way of living just to have a proper equality and
justice for all, experienced mostly in lower middle class or the less educated ones with not
enough salary to suffice their needs. Many countries suffer from different agony and wanting to
overcome various forms of injustice happening in their country but some are unable to cope up
or conquer this because of countless problems facing of the country specifically ignorance of the
ruler in its own territory.
Justice is the possession of being just and fair to everyone in many aspects of our society.
It promotes the true value in terms of individual's uniqueness and opportunities that they possess.
To work for justice means is to realize and understand the responsibility of humans facing today.
By implementing proper justice in these days. it can achieve peace and prosperity to our world.
Also, the lives of innocent people can be saved and not to involve to any violence to their life. As
well as, it develops fairness about gender, race, and even the environment we belong.
One of the issues that includes this issue is the concept of fighting for human rights. It is
all about in courage to express and speak for what is right and fair in the community. Every
human deserve and access these rights no matter what he/she is or the status of his/her life in the
society. These rights are not subjected to any conditions. This incorporate that each of us treated
equally when conveying with our thoughts and opinions to each problem and issues encountered
by mankind. Human Rights are universal and everyone in this world has the right to live in
dignity within themselves.
We all know that Philippines is still experienced the reign of our President Duterte which
he executes many campaign that violate the human right of Filipinos, so they become rebellious
on the government and create different platforms wanting to oust from his position as President
of the Philippines. Issues like war on drugs killed thousands of people largely from urban areas
in cities and provinces that deals damage to the livelihood, education, and the mental health of
surviving family members. Extrajudicial killings of drug users or dealers and even the accusation
of innocent lives such as political activist, environmentalist, community leaders and human
rights defenders were killed because of the anti-drug campaign. Duterte said to his speech that “if
you go into drugs… I will kill you” so the organization of human rights file a complaint about
the abusive anti-drug campaign and prosecute those responsible for killings of many Filipinos.
Government should rely on public health approaches on their govern areas that do not violate
human rights.
Moreover, war on drugs also devastated lives of numerous children and families that
brings psycho-social trauma and economic hardships that are driven to extreme poverty. Every
child has the right to education that can enrich their intelligence and skills but almost half of
population of youth (Filipinos) are deprived from their children rights because of harassment,
violence, trauma and other right violations that they facing. No one should left behind especially
youth, “let us join hands together to support and protect our children against various
deprivations”.
