Unit Overview:
During this unit, students will be thinking about choices. We will explore the complexity
of choices, the process of decision making, and the consequences of our choices. We will be
completing the novel study Tuck Everlasting during this time, which will help us further explore
our unit’s theme. Students will also explore story elements throughout the course of the unit.
Students will continue doing Spelling, Orals and Reading Comprehension. Students will also be
introduced to learning targets, student led discussions, and self-evaluations in order to help
them take responsibility for their own learning.
