Review Essay
Clear and concise thesis that locks me in to read.
The subject of the essay was clear like the thesis and to the point makes the reader interested in
reading more.
The essay is 50/50 both review and evaluation of what it is to become an anesthesiologist.
The criteria are stated and is not confusing simply and to the point factors such as the great
amount of pay they receive and how rewarding it is.
This is a fair review with everything provided and a good essay
Report Essay
1. The opening sentence is interesting as it introduces that the concept is controversial, so I think
it would capture the audience's interest.
2. I think it would provide a clearer roadmap of where you were going if you added one or two
details about why people are for or against abortion. As of right now, I'm not sure what you will
talk about in the essay.
3. It is explicitly clear why the topic matters as it mentions the procedure ends a pregnancy,
which is considered by some to be the end of life.
4. I think more background information is needed to understand why this topic is so
controversial.
5. Since no sources are referenced, it is difficult to tell whether the paper will be reliable.
6. The tone is clear and objective, which is perfect for a report.
7. The organization is good, as it introduces the topic, defines it, and then states that it is
controversial. It's just missing a bit of background.
8. A graphic that illustrates how many people agree and how many disagree with abortion could
be beneficial.
9. It is an easy-to-follow introduction.
10. There are no illustrations.
11. The style and level of formality is appropriate for the audience.
