The History of Instagram

1.-In what aspect do you think Instagram is different to the other social networks?

Because you can post the pictures and videos you want to show others, comment them,
like them and even send messages like other social media but you can’t call or
download the pictures as in others social networks.

2.-Who were the Co-founders of Instagram? Kevin Systrom  and Mike Krieger

3.-How did they relate? They both studied at Stanford University.

4.-When was it launched? Instagram was created and launched on oct.06.2010.

5.-What are the reasons for the success of Instagram? Instagram allows you to take
ordinary photos and make them look extraordinary. Also people don’t want to read long
texts, so they are more interested in watching videos and pictures. Another thing is that
it’s simple and easy to use and free! And it doesn’t contain too many frustrating ads;
nothing pops up!

6.-How much did FACEBOOK pay to acquire Instagram? Facebook paid for imstagram
$ 1 billion in cash and stock.

7.-What was the provision of Instagram’s owner to sell it to Mr. Zuckerberg? The
provision that the company would remain independently managed.

8.-Have you ever used this social network? Yes

9.-How can you relate Instagram to the Paleolithic Man cave’s graphics? The Paleolithic
Man used to paint in the wall of cave to communicate things to others, to pass they
culture through the new members of their society, and in Instagram we can use our
pictures to show others how we feel, what we like and communicate many things.

10.-Which is your favorite social network, why? My favorite social network is

Facebook, because we can find interesting things like videos, pictures and texts, we can
also communicate with others through messages and video call. Another thing is that we
can make business through it.
