Introduction or Write on the board the dotted words on page 106 so that students discuss what they understand about 10 min
warm up them. Then go through the survey on how are they with money? 8 different sentences.

transition Ask students. What do you use more, cash, debit card, or credit card when do use each one of them? 10
Extension Have students go to page 105 and answer the questions on exercise 2 and 3 about uses of money in 10
activity their lives. Have students share their ideas.

Activity Intro discussion:

Why is money the limiting factor in most relationships? Explain limiting factor as: influence +/-,
determent, cause for breakups, homicides, crimes, the only solutions, what everyone is looking for,

You need to two big groups of 5 people. The idea is to have each group role-play a situation from
court that involves money. Students will have to create their dialogues, and improvise the rest. The
idea of this talk show type of exercise to have a judge, two client and witnesses. I will create situation
in which money is the center of the discussion and they will have to find a solutions.

They can make a good list of evidences, and also add some other characters to the discussion.

Wrap-up or Finally, have students check out the book on page 107 and do some of that stuff independently, this 10
closure activity. will simply extend some of the things we’ve done in class.
