INTRODUCTION

A healthy life defines as a healthy living of a person in lifetime taking a balanced food in the
meals that contains all the vitamin and protein in the food pyramid.

Avoid from doing thing that could waste money buying the things that did not give
advantages such as eating junk food that could gain weight or drinking alcoholic drink.

Healthy lifestyle could avoid a person from getting illness that related to the habit which
could decreasing the person health.

Taking meals with balanced food could avoid from gain weight and give benefit to the body
and also increasing the body health.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is a complete meals of a person should take in a day which
contain a balanced nutrients for body.

GOAL

To create awareness among the student about the important of healthy lifestyle and
balanced food for the meals.

OBJECTIVES

 To describe on how to get a healthy lifestyle and balanced food for the meals which
is contain nutrients from the food pyramid.
 To tell how harmful bad healthy lifestyle that could harm body and also decrease the
function.
 To able a student to prepare healthy food by using simple ingredient that include all
the vitamin, protein and carbohydrate.
 To explain how important for a person to take care of body by taking healthy food.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Our target audience are diploma student of University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) student
which is easier for us to explain about the healthy life since they are still teenagers and could
gain their knowledge by hearing some good talks. We need to explain to them on how to get
a balanced food for the meals which are contain all the important nutrients.
They need to take important about the healthy lifestyle because this could increase their
body function more than regularly and also enjoying a healthy lifestyle which save money
and also unique. They also could learn how to prepare healthy food by using the simple
ingredient that could save their money and also make it as a new habit.

Some of the may not know how to take healthy food since they are not be teach to prepare it
and they also need to know that healthy food could give a lot of benefit in life which could
make them live happily.

DOMAIN

Students can learn from the class how to change their old lifestyle to have a ‘’ healthy
lifestyle’’, which is lead them to good health. Moreover, they can get the knowledge, tips
about what they should do and also the advantages of healthy living. In addition, students
can use all the knowledge given to improve the way they live in order to have a healthier and
longer life.

CONTENT

Tips for healthy lifestyle

1) Healthy Diet
- Eat vegetables and fruits. Studies show that people who eat more vegetables
and fruits have a lower risk of heart disease.
- Eat enough protein. It can boost metabolism while making you feel enough and
able to reduce craving feelings.
- Minimize sugar intake. By taking high amount of sugar will harm our metabolic
health and lead to get bad illness such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

2) Get enough sleep & rest

- A good night of sleep daily is equal to good health and for reasons. Sleeping can
make you feel energetic, alert and feel better to start a day. A quality sleep also
leads to better concentration and stay focus to finish our daily tasks. For this
reason, you should aim to get sufficient sleep to improve your biological functions
and body function, including brain development and physical repair and recovery.
Sleeping well also reduces stress levels and keep it under control, lowering your
risk of chronic disease related to it, such as blood pressure. With proper sleep
also can improve your appetite and reduce chances of stress eating. So, if you
want to avoid the risk of becoming overweight, take full hours of sleep.

3) Take care of both physical and mental


- Looking after both these aspects, you’ll live a healthy life and have a healthy
mind. To take care of your mental health, you should train your brain, which is
like a muscle that needs constant exercise; otherwise it will decline in function
and lose its tone. In addition, you should take care of physical and mental health
include exercising regularly such as jogging 2 times a week, reading widely and
often, boosting your vitamin B levels and challenging your memory and intellect.

being creative when deliver the speech to students is integral to keeping students’ attention.

Motivation skills also important whereby we need to apply a different type of strategies to
maintaining our students’ momentum and avoid them to feel tired and distracted.

Power point in presenting information about the tips of healthy living.
-Text explanation which is full of tips and all the advantages by doing healthy living in
life.
- Picture of variety types exercising that can attract students to focus on the slides.

- Allow students to see the content of talk by reading on brochures and the notes
given.

4) Questionnaire

- The questionnaire is required to get feedback from the students about the outcome
they received.

5) Quizzes

- It is to determine the level of understanding about the topic that they had learnt.

Ways to impress the audience

− Recent trends. For instance, every student nowadays uses the Tiktok app as
entertainment. During the demonstration session, tiktok video screening can explain
the brief and concise information. Students may take advantage of the app to
improve their general knowledge of healthy lifestyles.

− The facilitator has to be passionate about getting the audience involved. A way to
look enthusiastic, always displaying a happy facial expression and confidently and
correctly presenting content in a voice tone. The facilitator should always look clean
and tidy as well.

− Some motivational songs or some entertainment aimed at empowering students are


included. This way, once the programme finishes, students will be more involved in
sticking together.

Summative

To find out how much information they get from the programme, students will be provided
with a questionnaire at the end of the programme. We can measure the level of efficacy of
this programme for UMP students through this questionnaire.

CONCLUSION

To conclude, this programme is very beneficial because it will assist students with the value
of keeping a balanced lifestyle in their everyday lives. The university is responsible for
ensuring the health of students. By this programme, students gain a lot of new knowledge
such as advantages and tips or method to achieve healthy lifestyle. They also learn how to
reduce stress through proper sleep, a healthy diet for the body's health, and easily avoid
getting sick.

Therefore, in order to achieve outstanding results, students are able to focus entirely on their
classes and syllabus. From all the tricks that they had learnt will helps them improving their
daily life. This new lifestyle helps student improving their health and mind which is they will
be more energetic and able to think wisely.
