Prompt #1) TYPES OF WORK; Identify any Professions or Positions that are in alignment
with your interests.  Is there anything here that calls out to you that might be exciting?
I have thought about becoming an engineer at one point in my life. In the past, I held a position
in Quality Assurance from time to time and rather enjoyed it. Therefore, I found Quality
Assurance Engineer as an interesting profession. I have the urge to write a book from time to
time as well and found Writer as an exciting option. I have also thought about going into a
profession involving consultation because it aligns with my interest of being able to help people.
I have several interests in which I would like to put my skills into use. However, professions in
Human Resources stood out to me with a position in Personnel Staffing. I did find a profession in
Quality Assurance the most enticing.
Prompt #2) INTERFACES of WORK: Identify any Role that is in alignment with your
interests.  How might you learn more about this role and how well you enjoy filling it?
Client Solutions and Team Leader are two positions that stood out to me the most. Of the two, I
would say that Client Solutions stood out more. I think that I could learn more about this role if I
could find an organization that aligns with my own interests the most. I think I would enjoy
filling this role for only a short time because I enjoy problem-solving activities, but I want to do
more than be confined to one type of activity. At the root of it all, I will enjoy working in a
position for any company in which my values are in alignment with the company’s values.
Prompt #3) PLACES of WORK: Is there any industry or place of work that has an appeal?
What would be the next step in learning more about it?
Honestly, no work environment stood out to me. I want to find an industry to does good for the
environment and make a difference in how we live. Tesla is a company that currently stands out
to me since they are trying to change the way we commute and trying to help the environment as
well. I live in California and natural gas supplies more than half of the electricity in the state,
Tesla vehicles are “greener” because they contribute less to certain environmental issues. This
may fall into the Manufacturing industry under Electronic components, but I think it is so much
more than that. Therefore, no industry or workplace environment that was provided in the Places
of Work section really stood out to me
