INT. LIVING ROOM-NIGHT


Beck and Joe are fighting.
NARRATOR:
It was the 3rd anniversary of Beck and
Joe when she learned about Joe’s infidelity.

Joe giving Beck a sympathetic look.

NARRATOR (CONTINUED):
He admitted that he is cheating with her
with multiple partners, and tested positive
for HIV. He warns Beck to take the test too.

Beck walks out with tears on her eyes.

NARRATOR (CONTINUED):
At that point, Beck is a hundred percent sure
that she has the virus because Joe never wears
condom when they’re intimate.

INT. BECK’S ROOM-DAY


Beck’s eyes are red and puffy from crying. She is hugging her knees at
the corner of her room.
NARRATOR (CONTINUED):
Beck isolates herself in her room for days.
She’s afraid of transmitting the virus by being
in the same room with her family.

SCREEN: Misconception #1: HIV can be transmitted through touching and


kissing.
ALEX CINCO:

INT.CLINIC-DAY
Beck is sitting in one of the clinic’s chair waiting for a doctor.

NARRATOR:
The next day, Beck decides to go to the doctor,
she took the test and went back after a week
for the results.

Beck looks horrified and that the ground would just ate her whole.

NARRATOR (CONTINUED):
The moment when the doctor
confirms that she is positive and that her
cheating partner did give her HIV, is the moment
where Beck’s brain gone overdrive. She started
fearing for her life and her career.
Beck imagining her funeral.

NARRATOR (CONTINUED):
With this virus, it will only be a
matter of time before she is buried six
feet deep.

Misconception #2: HIV is a death sentence.

RYAN LORENZO PALUGOD:

INT. BAR-NIGHT
Beck is in a dark lit bar.
NARRATOR:
After terrible news, Beck finds herself in a
bar.

A guy comes up to her offering her a drink.

NARRATOR (CONTINUED):
One guy suddenly comes up for her and
bought her a drink.
They laugh.
NARRATOR (CONTINUED):
As their conversation
progresses, the guy invited her over in
his house—a couple of blocks away from the bar.
Beck turned down the invitation and told
him the truth: she has HIV.
Beck looks sad.
NARRATOR (CONTINUED):
Beck thinks that she a curse that she
could never again be intimate with anyone.

Misconception #3: People who have HIV cannot have sex with people who
do not have HIV.
KENT SOLARIO:

INT. BECK’S ROOM-CONTINOUS


Beck calls her mom crying.

NARRATOR (CONTINUED):
Beck calls her mom and apologized for being so reckless. She knows her
mom always wanted to have grandkids, but with the virus on the way.
That wouldn’t be possible—would never be possible in fact.

Misconception #4: HIV-positive people can’t safely have children.


She went home and texted her mom.
