CREATIVE REASONING Summative Assessment (Process – 40 points)

Create a 4-panel comic strip depicting how Love of Self and Love of God are the models of Love of
Neighbor in the context of our present situations and in relation to your chosen strand. Provide captions
for clarity of thoughts.

“God is love, and he who abides in love

abides in God, and God abides in him”
(1 John 4:16) This word of God means
that if you do not know how to love,
then you don’t really know God. Love
is in our nature. Everything that we do
would be inconsequential without it,
because it’s the drive and motivation
we need to make a difference and
mark in the world. Love was the
reason why you’re here today, it fed
you, bathed you, taught you how to
walk, and nurtures you. Starting from
the moment we are born, we felt
love’s warmth and the ability to give
and receive with people whom we are
going to meet someday. In the face of
pandemic today, doctors and nurses
from all around the world are restless. These people are the real heroes. Amidst of all the stress
and ache they feel they still find the motivation to continue their service. All medical staffs are
people with so much love to give. They sacrificed their sleep and being with their family just to
tend to people’s need in the hospital. The job is risky because anyone could be infected with the
disease, thus they wear these protective equipment to prevent the spread of the disease they
are trying to solve. This service is love-driven. The reason why they take the patient’s
temperature and serve them their food every day was because they love and care for the sick.
For God loves us, we must love ourselves. For God’s love overflow, we must share it with our
neighbors. Being a frontliner is a clear discipleship with our Creator. It is by loving, that we know
more about ourselves. As a STEM student, I believe I can share God’s love with the world by
being a doctor. It has been my dream to help someone else’s life and I believe this is my calling.
