REPORT ON: EATING HABITS IN SPAIN

INTRODUCTION
The aim of this report is to outline how eating habits have progressed
in my country. Focusing on the positivity effects of these changes. It
will also consider the development that may take place in the future.

EATING WITH FAMILY VS EATING ALONE


It is clear that this feature has substantially evolved. Nowadays we
tend to eat alone more than with our family. It is due to two a major
factor: work. The more we work, the less we sitting with our family.
Unfortunately, one cannot ignore the possibility that this situation
become more extreme in about ten years. Therefore, this change is
absolutely not a positive one, though it is a necessary one.

TRADITIONAL FOOD VS FAST FOOD


Undoubtedly, the lack of time has a significant and harmful effect on
our health. Not having time for cooking our traditional dishes as did
our grandmothers, people found easier and comfortable to buy a
hamburger. That might well be the reason why statistics shows that
they have been an increment in consuming junk food. Sadly, this habit
is here to stay. It seems unlike in the near foreseeable future that we
vary our diet to a healthy one.

HEALTHY FOOD
In the sixties, agriculture started to use pesticides massively. As a
consequence of that, food started to lost quality and taste. However,
over the last few years, there has been an increase in the concern for
healthy food. This is a welcome change because it means a change of
mind in our society. This might well keep on getting better so the
outlook for the food in this aspect is bright.
