CHAPTER V

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

A. Conclusion
There are many definitions of research and development (R&D) from several
experts. From the opinion of these experts, it can be concluded that research and
development (R&D) is a research method that aims to produce certain products and test the
validity and effectiveness of these products in their application. Specific development
research objectives in the field of education are distinguished based on development
aspects, namely the curriculum, technology and media, lessons and instruction, and
didactic teacher education.
There are several versions of the research and development model according to
experts, for example the research and development model of the kemp version, dick and
carey, borg and gall, ADDIE, etc.
In the implementation of research and development, some methods are used,
namely descriptive, evaluative, and experimental methods. This variation of methods
underlies the substance of the proposals that must be formulated. Reports made must
always be accompanied by the products produced along with their specifications and
explanations.
Like other method, the research and development method also has advantages and
disadvantages. The R&D approach is able to produce products or models that have high
validation value and find products or models that are always actual with the demands of
the times so as to produce knowledge that can be used in the future. However, in principle,
R&D requires a relatively long time and requires substantial resources and resources.

B. Suggestion
After compiling our conclusions we proceed to formulate the following
suggestions:
1. It is necessary to carry out a continuation of understanding development research
and research.
2. Researchers understand all research and development models that will be used as
the basis for completing the research so that it will be structured and directed.
3. Teachers are expected to use R&D research methods and be able to create or
develop a product that can make it easier for students to achieve satisfactory
learning outcomes.
4. For researchers who will conduct research. Socialization of instructional media
products is also needed. The hope is that it can help the role of teachers in the
learning process and can be applied at all levels of education which can later be
developed better, more creative and more innovative.
