To whom it may concern,

I have had the privilege of working with Christine Walsh for two years. I truly mean that it has
been my privilege watching her work and create long lasting supportive relationships with younger
students and her own staff. Christine was a resident assistant in a building that students normally didn’t
want to live in because they felt staff didn’t know or want to get to know students. Christine broke this
stigma immediately; Christine is the type of person that hears one detail and will remember that
forever. Christine makes people feel heard, valued, and understood above all else. Christine has taken
this towards being a nurse, and I envy whatever place is lucky enough to have her as a nurse.

Christine makes others a priority by sharing her number one resource, her time. Christine is
always the first one willing to step up and support her team and those around her. In her time as an RA
Christine would wake up at 5 am and go through nursing school all day and then come home and help
her residents that struggled with connecting a laptop to Wi-Fi. Christine would do everything with a
smile and still somehow be able to throw in some insanely witty pun. Christine wasn’t afraid to have fun
and joke around with her residents, and then the next minute hold them accountable for their actions.
Christine was also able to build relationships and community that supported each other. Christine is
genuinely one of those rare humans who can invest herself and empower others to finally believe in
themselves, in ways that first year students really don’t know how to do.

Christine’s time management skills, and administrative skills are on par with some of the
best I have ever seen. Christine understands that there is always a place for improvement, and
that processes can also be developed beyond what has been created. Christine strives for
maximum efficiency, without sacrificing the quality of work and relationships that have been
built. Christine has blend of professionalism and her own go getter personality in everything
that she does, and it is infectious. Christine has a great attitude and even when she is working
hard to graduate, she has created systems so that her residents could feel supported even
while she took some time away from work.
Christine is without a doubt one of the hardest working people I have ever met, also the
most humble and modest person you could meet. It isn’t important for Christine to brag about
her accomplishments, instead she will brag about her students, her friends, and not herself.
Christine is the type of person that sick person would be lucky to have as nurse, Christine has
the ability to build relationships and help others find the Brightside of life. Christine is beyond a
kind person, and she balances all of this with strong academic drive and doesn’t sacrifice
kindness at any point. The world needs more people like Christine, the medical field would be
lucky to have a nurse like Christine Walsh.
Sincerely,
