On your own perception, briefly explain why you need to study performance-based assessment.

Performance-based learning and assessment represent a set of strategies for the

acquisition and application of knowledge, skills, and work habits through the performance of
tasks that are meaningful and engaging to students. It is essential to use performance based to
test the student’s capabilities and the activities are very student centered. They are complex,
outcome based and open minded.  The best thing of studying performance-based
assessment is you can use it as a tool to measure one or more specific course
standards. As a future teacher, this new way of teaching would help studying
performance-based assessment as tool to equipped me with more information to
become effective teacher. Provide the learnings needed for my future students and
enable me to modify their methods to meet these needs. It A lso allow students
to assess their own progress and, therefore, be more responsible for their education.
