PPST (Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers) is a set of standards that
helps teachers know what they should o, and value to achieve certain competencies,
improved student learning outcome and create a quality evaluation for all. By knowing
the school’s profile, teachers can understand their students needs, and how they will
effectively deliver their instructions tailored to the diverse students with different
background and characteristics.

How does the school’s profile connect to your learning as a teaching intern?
By knowing the school’s profile including its vision and mission, I can better
improve my teaching practices to meet the specific needs of my student. That will also
serve as my foundation to develop and grow as a teaching intern.

What is the impact of knowing the school’s information on students learning?


Being aware of the school’s information will help the teachers to create a more
effective, conducive and inclusive learning environment for the students that will cater
their specific needs, ultimately leading to improve learning outcomes.

How can you concretize the school’s vision, mission, goals and expected
graduate attributes in your lessons?
I can concretize the school’s VMG by starting to understanding the Vision,
Mission, and Goals (VMG) of my cooperating school I am working with. Focusing on
actively engaging with students and helping in creating a positive learning environment.
Demonstrate enthusiasm for the subject matter, adapting teaching methods from my
cooperating teacher to suit diverse learning styles, I will definitely embody the VMG
principles in my role.
