After I read the lesson and wacthed the video in Chapter 1 Introduction. I therefore conclude that,
the more diverse our environment are, the better it will become.There are no doubt that as the world
rapidly globalizes, diversity is becoming increasingly present across all aspects of our life. Encompassing
gender, race, ethnicity or socio-economic background, diversity and a multicultural environment are
important for a whole host of reasons, above all for the different perspectives they provide.The
interconnectedness of the modern world is broadening our ability to communicate and integrate with
people from different cultures. It is very essential because a diverse environment has multiple benefits
in our personal development. It will helps us to be more open-minded and more-aware of other
people's culture. This can also lessen the non-stop stereotyping in our world. In addition, a diverese
human being will always be productive than to a non-diverse human being because being diverse means
having the ability to learn and grow from each other about each culture, traditions, beliefs and etc. A
multicultural exchange of ideas boost a richer idea generation, in turn leading to innovation and
creativity. This is especially pertinent in workplace because it is all about learning, creating and sharing
ideas. In these environments, a profile exposed to different cultures viewpoints, allows for more
contribution and out-of-the-box thinking. Employees are more likely to feel comfortable and happy in
an environment where inclusivity is a priority. Diversity in the workplace encourage workers from all
backgrounds to feel confident in their ability and achieve their best. The higher the team morale, the
more productive employees are.
