NARRATIVE AND PICTORIAL REPORT ON THE CELEBRATION OF

NATIONAL CHILDREN’S MONTH for SY 2020-2021

I. Introduction

The celebration of National Children’s Month (NCM) in our country pursuant to


Republic Act No. 10661, titled An Act Declaring the Month of November of Every year
as National Children’s Month The celebration seeks to “Emphasize the importance of the
role of the child within Filipino Family and in nation building” it also supports Section
13, Article II of the Philippine constitution, which recognize the vital role of the youth in
nation building and mandates the promotion and protection of physical, moral, spiritual,
intellectual and social well-being by instilling in them the values of patriotism and
nationalism and among others.

II. Activities

Based on the suggested activities for the celebration, Abra Elementary School
launched the said celebration in the 16th day of November 2020 through presentation of
rationale by Marjorie D. Pilon, School head. She encouraged all teachers to integrate the
celebration’s theme: “Sama-samang Itaguyod ang Karapatan ng Bawat Bata sa Panahon
ng Pandemya”.

As a kick off program of the NCM on November 3, 2020 every pupil of Abra
Elementary School recited the Panatang Makabata through virtual or online and were
posted in the facebook page of Abra Elementary School .

On November 17, 2020 the whole studentry of Abra participated in an online webinar
on National Children’s Month. Best in Costume attire (Disney princesses and Heroes)was
launched and this will last on the last week of November.
Poster and Slogan Contest was conducted on November 17-27, 2020. The paricipants
of the slogan were the primary level while intermediate pupils were the participants in the
poster making contest.

It was on December 02, 2020 was the Awarding of winners from all the activities
conducted for the long month celebration of National Childrens Month .

Collectively, the celebration was both educating and fun-filled for the pupils.
