NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE EXTENSIVE PUBLIC AWARENESS

ADVOCACY and MARKETING


To promote public awareness and encourage involvement in Brigada Eskwela the school
conducted an extensive awareness campaign and varied marketing strategies and activities
such as:
1. DISTRIBUTION OF BRIGADA ESKWELA LEAFLETS/IEC MATERIALS
One of the effective strategies to provide information and promote support for the
Brigada Eskwela and other school programs is the distribution of Brigada Eskwela leaflets
in the community. This is one way to encourage the stakeholders to take part in the
activity, hence, building harmonious relationships in the community where the school is
located. All teachers reached out to people in the community and distributed leaflets that
contains information about BE activities.

2. UTILIZATION OF BARANGAY TROMPA


With the help of the three barangays, Dubinan West, Dubinan East and Plaridel, the
school easily disseminated information and updates on the activities of Brigada Eskwela
2022 by allowing the School Information Officer (SIO) and teachers in-charge in the
advocacy and marketing to use their trompa.
3. PUTTING UP IEC MATERIALS/LEAFLETS STAND IN STRATEGIC PLACES
Teachers together with the barangay personnel SET-UP spaces in strategic places in
the three (3) feeder barangays such as the barangay hall, purok leader’s house, and
canteens the Brigada Eskwela where leaflets can be available for everyone in the
community. With this strategy, stakeholders read information easily about the Brigada
Eskwela activities.

4. POSTING OF CAMPAIGN BANNERS


The school also hung tarpaulins at the school façade and at the barangay halls of the
three feeder barangay as additional information dissemination for the Brigada Eskwela.
5. HOUSE-TO-HOUSE CAMPAIGN
Part of the activity on encouraging stakeholders’ participation in the Brigada activities,
teachers assisted by the Barangay Officials for the house-to-house campaign to further
reach out to the parents and other partners in the community. Along with this strategy,
teachers also conducted the pre-reading assessment.
6. ATTENDED BARANGAY COUNCIL REGULAR SESSIONS
The school Brigada coordinator and representatives of teachers attended barangay
sessions to present the crafted/planned activities for the weeklong implementation of
Brigada Eskwela. Though the chairman of the Committee on Education was present
