1. Stop looking out of the window.

Ans: This is a sentence because the meaning of the statement is incomplete 'My

sister who marries very young' is an incomplete thought.

Ans: This statement is not a sentence because the meaning is not complete.

B. Write the meanings of the following words: (10 Marks)

1. Reproach- express to (someone) one's disapproval of or disappointment in their

actions.

2. Admonish - warn or reprimand someone firmly.

3. Dispute - a disagreement or argument.

4. Rebuke - an expression of sharp disapproval or criticism.

5. Wrangle - a dispute or argument, typically one that is long and complicated.

6. Bicker - argue about petty and trivial matters.

7. Blame - feel or declare that (someone or something) is responsible for a fault or

wrong.

8. Persuade - induce (someone) to do something through reasoning or argument.

9. Remonstrate - make a forcefully reproachful protest.

10. Coax - gently and persistently persuade (someone) to do something.
