Questions 22 – 24 refer to the following text

Last weekend was great time for me. My family and I went to Eiffel Tower. We
arrived at the Tower and queued up to ride on the lift all the way up, only to find a massive
line of about 60 people waiting. We sighed and joined the back of the oversized line. I
patiently kept my eyes on the queue which didn’t look like it was going to move any faster.
So I was stuck with 2 options. I could either wait another 2 hours our turn on the lifts, or I
could take an exhausting long walk up the steep stairs towards the top of the Tower. I
decided we should all go and queue up for the stairs, which had about 5 people. I got to
the front of the queue and waited until we were allowed to walk up the stairs. As we
reached them, I looked up towards the second platform. This is going to be a long walk, I
said to myself, ready for the challenge. As we were getting higher up, I realised that I was
glad I took up the opportunity to climb the stairs. You get the chance to see the magnificent
view from all angles, whereas with the lift, the view is blocked by moving ropes, cogs
pulling the lift upwards, and the metal bars forming the Tower. As we reached the top, I
saw just how gorgeous the Tower and its view was, and that I must be the luckiest girl in
the world. I was proud of myself afterwards because I had just walked in 100’s and 1000’s
of other people’s footsteps and that my trip to Paris had just become the smallest bit more
special to me because I decided to take a great risk and step a little bit further out of my
comfort zone. It was an unforgettable trip. I really enjoyed it.
