Sustainable Development goal-

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by
all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the
planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

Background (Sustainable Development goal)-

Objective for the Sustainable Development-

o Help to eliminate hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition
o Make agriculture, Forestry, fisheries more productive and sustainable
o Reduce Rural poverty
o Enable exclusive and efficient agricultural and food systems
o Increase the resilience of livelihoods to threats and crises

Agenda of SDG in 2030-

This agenda is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity. It wants to realize the human rights
of all and to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. The target is to
gain sustainable development in terms of economic, social and environment.

For the people-

o the plan is to end the poverty and hunger.

o To ensure that all human being can fulfil their needs, equality and healthy environment.

For the planet-

Protect our Planets natural resources and climate for future generations

For Prosperity-

o To ensure that all human being can enjoy prosperous and fulfilling lives.

For Peace-

o To determine to peaceful and inclusive societies which are free from fear and violence.

Partnership-

Implement the agenda through a solid global partnership for Sustainable Development, based on a
spirit of strengthened global solidarity, focused in particular on the needs of the poorest and most
vulnerable and with the participation of all countries, all stakeholders and all people.

Goal1- End the poverty in all its form everywhere
Goal2- End Hunger, achieve food security and improved and promote Sustainable Agriculture
Goal3- Ensure Healthy lives and promote well being for all at all ages
Goal4- Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunity
for all.

Goal5- Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
Goal6- Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
Goal7- Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all
Goal8- Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive
employment and decent work for all

Goal9- Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster
innovation

Goal10- Reduce inequality within and among countries

Goal11- Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable
Goal12- Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
Goal13- Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts*
Goal14- Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable
development

Goal15- Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably
manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity
loss

Goal16- Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to
justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels

Goal17- Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for
Sustainable Development
