The progress I have made during this past week

I set up my Twitch, Youtube, and Tiktok (took me a total of 1.5 hours):

- This is included multiple steps such as creating a name for my self
- I had to create new emails and set up 2 step verification and other safety procedures for
all my accounts
- I started working on an idea for my profile pictures/banners
- I also had to create a schedule and portfolio on twitch
- Watched videos to learn new stuff
Another thing I did this week was talking to my community connection (1 hour)
- He gave me tips on coming up with my name for my twitch
- Gave me the idea for creating an aesthetic for my accounts which will be updated next
week
- He gave me tips on other streamers/YouTubers to watch

What I need to move forward with my capstone

After a little bit more fine-tuning of my accounts and my tech setup at home I should be on go
mode for streaming and making content for youtube. I plan on streaming at least twice and
trying to post a couple of TikTok’s and maybe a youtube video. An important thing with moving
forward will be time management as I have no more face to face classes (still have online
school) so im going to have to keep my self on track to be able to manage homework and clc.

Obstacles I have encountered and how I have moved forward

The only obstacle I have encountered was coming up with a name because my original name
was already taken so I had to come with a new one.

The skills I’ve used and what I’ve learned

I have learned more about technology in terms of monitors and sound. I needed to know what
wire I needed for my monitor to be able to run 120 Hz on my PS5. Hz is the speed that the
monitor is able to process/refresh. It basically the speed between the device to the monitor so
you have an advantage while gaming because you have a faster reaction rate. In terms of
sound, I had to set up my blue yeti microphone to my PS5 and fix the audio so it doesn’t pick up
all the background noise in my room/house. I did this through multiple youtube videos and
reading through the settings on my console.

My goals and deadlines for next week

Make my first post on all of my platforms by the end of this week (goal 1). This is one of my
hard deadlines. I also want to start promoting my accounts. Something that’s not a hard deadline
but I need to have done as well is have my profile pictures/aesthetics of my account created.
