Part 1: How well do you feel you manage your time (work, school, social)? What are some strategies you
use to effectively manage your time? What strategies could you use to better manage your time?
Honestly I know I can do a lot better than I am doing now, but I have improved overtime. Due to
circumstances I wasn’t on my best work ethic, but I am fixing it. The strategies I used including putting
work before social activities. Also, if I had free time at football practice I would work on school or my
internship assignments. I learned to take advantage of some free time gaps. I know that I need to
improve on focusing on one thing at a time and become more organized with my work.

Part 2: Explain one time you managed your time well and one time you managed your time ineffectively.
What did you learn from each of those situations?
One time I managed my time well was when Mrs. Rudd assigned me links and information to put
into a certain system and the day she assigned it, I went through most of them and then continued to
enter them at the end of my days so I would get them done on time.
A time I did not manage my time well was for my presentation. I started working on it and then
let school work and some social activated shift my focus and I waited too long to ask certain questions.
This taught me to always communicate as soon as possible and to manage my time differently.

Part 3: How do you spend your time at work (give examples of tasks and the amount of time you spend
on them)? How have do you manage your time at work in order to complete your duties and
responsibilities?

I spent my time listening to interviews and writing up blogs for a company and each one took
about a week or two. I also have created a website and that took me about a week and a half. I
have to make a list and stick to it and stayed 100% focused. Again, due to circumstances I
lacked in a lot of ways that I didn’t want to, but I learned from the experiences I had. I learned
that time is very important and knowing how to distribute properly is very important.
