-Omnipotent view of management is the view of managers that control over the
organization, functions and operation to responsible for all its success or failures.
-Symbolic view of management is the view of managers that have only limited effect on
substantive organizational outcomes because of large number outside their control.
-External environment is composed of all the outside factors or influences that impact the
operation of business.
-Environmental Uncertainty is the amount of change and complexity in organizations
environment.
-Organizational Culture is a system of shared meaning and beliefs within an organization
that determines, in large degree.
-Stakeholders are those who have financial interest in the firm.
-Strong Cultures is high level of understanding of what culture is as well as a strong
commitment to the core values.

I think Culture is a carrier of meaning. Cultures provide not only a shared view of “what is” but
also of “why is.” In this view, culture is about “the story” in which people in the organization are
embedded, and the values and rituals that reinforce that narrative. It also focuses attention on
the importance of symbols and the need to understand them — including the idiosyncratic
languages used in organizations — in order to understand culture.
