Definition
Culture is the unique dominant pattern of shared beliefs, assumption, values, and norms that shapes the
socialization, symbols, language and practices of a group of people.
The attitude and approaches that classify the way staff carry out the tasks.
Culture is developed and transmitted by people, consciously and unconsciously, to subsequent generations.

Change agents should take the following steps to obtain a successful change outcome:
1. Establish a sense of urgency.
2. Form a powerful coalition of supporters of change.
3. Create a vision of change.
4. Communicate the vision of change.
5. Empower others to act on the vision.
6. Plan and create short-term wins.
7. Consolidate improvements and produce still more change.
8. Institutionalize new approaches.
