Activity 1:

Instruction: Read the vision, mission, goals and objectives and core values of the
university. Analyze and reflect on them properly then answer the following:

1. How does your chosen course contribute to the attainment of the vision, mission,
goals and objectives of the University during this time of COVID-19 Pandemic?

Honestly speaking it is really difficult for me as an aspiring teacher someday to think

what I can contribute to the attainment of the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the
University during this time of COVID-19 Pandemic as I cannot assure of what will happen next
especially in the near future. Because I know those teachers, parents and me students are
really struggling adapting with this situation we are facing today. But nevertheless I know that as
a future teacher we must be the one who is being a role model and a leader to young people
through being productive, resourceful in adapting with this crisis to be able for them to know that
there is hope and for them to be motivated that this is just a challenge for them for us in
reaching our dreams as things happen in our world unexpectedly. As they say nothing is
impossible and nothing is easy in this world. You can’t have something if you don’t work hard for
it. So I always look up into three things those are Testing, Teaching and Learning. First testing
my abilities, knowledge and skills on what I can do as a future teacher on how I can engage my
students or motivate them to learn in most possible way I can with the available and accessible
resources. Second teaching and sharing others specially my future students my knowledge,
skills and some strategies that may it help them in their learning. Third is learning new things
everyday from everyone and everything and it’s a cycle. In other words the decision is on our
hands in being active, innovative and creative in seeking ways to be able to survive in this
pandemic in the most possible way we can. Because I always believe that teaching and learning
does not end on school it is happening everyday without realizing it.

2. Relate your unforgettable experiences on how you managed activities inside you
homes like cleaning your house, cooking foods, taking care of your brothers and sisters,
washing clothes, entertaining visitors and other related activities. How these experiences
are contribute to the attainment of your goals?

In doing household chores in our house there is a schedule as I have two brothers and
sister and I can say having a schedule help us a lot to do the task quickly as we are working
together and independently. As my mother always tells us that you must always finish what you

have started before you do some other things. And in doing household chores in our house time
management must be practice because mother said that it is the only way that you can finish your
entire task in a day so that you can do other things tomorrow. And I can say that all of these help
me a lot in attaining my goals in life because everything learned at home also helps us in our
studies.
