Toledo city, Cebu has been a fast-growing economy and many business ventures has been established in
the place. Businesses like fast food, beverages, coffee shops, milk tea shops and any food related
business that offers drinks and beverages which requires ice are buying ice from only one supplier and
the supplier has been charging its customers excessively. Furthermore, the ice it is producing is an ice
cube not an ice tube. Ice tubes is the latest invention in the ice industry and more suitable for drinks and
beverages. Hence, I have decided to manufacture ice tubes and supply those businesses at a cost-
friendly price. There is nothing proprietary about my competitors, ice is ice, frozen water and there is
nothing special about it. Consumers will always choose the cheaper one with same quality as long as it is
clean and safe. It is a no-brainer decision for the consumer. It is just a question of when will I start
producing?

P16.67 – P10 = 6.67 per kilo difference
If the customer is consuming an average of 120 kilos of ice in a day.
P6.67 x 120 kilos = P800 per day
P800 x 30 days = P24,000 per month
P24,000 x 12 months = P288,000 per year
