THEORETICAL PROJECT 2º ESO 2019-2020

1.- PROJECT CHARACTERISTICS

For this project, you will have to create a monologue about a specific topic regarding Sport
and Physical Education. For doing the activity, you will have to film yourself in a video in
which you have to show your face at all times and speak in english. You can use a
draft with very few notes in order not to get lost through the speech . This project, as you
can see on the assessment criteria, it would represent the 20% of your mark. The project
must be submitted through email before the deadline in each term. The time limit for the
activity will be from 1.30”- 2 minutes and you have to introduce yourself, share your
knowledge, give the big picture of the topic, explain your point of view ...

2º- THE MONOLOGUE HAS TO CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING PARTS:

1- A topic introduction with your own presentation

2- General ideas with supporting evidence
3- Examples which can illustrate the topic
4- Conclusion giving your personal opinion

3.-TOPICS

1º TERM: Physical capacities. The importance of each of them .

2º TERM: The importance of body language in communication.

3º TERM: Sports and natural environment.

4.- ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

- Body language during you speech.

- Theoretical content.

- Match the theoric content with appropriate examples.

- Monologue´s structure.

- Support with evidence your viewpoint.
