Project 1 - Period 1

Advanced English II – A
Material to work with Project based on the unit 1 of the coursebook Summit II

Role of the students Students will form pairs to complete this first project.

- In pairs, you will answer three questions. Your answers will be

presented in two forms. The first one is a written report, which
will be submitted on the platform. The second form will be a
video in which you will appear answering the questions.
- The three questions for the first project are:
1. Choose three careers in El Salvador. Write a job description
Tasks for each one.
2. What are the requirements for these careers?
3. What aspect(s) of these careers do you find most
interesting? Are you suited to these careers?
Explain your answers.
- Your written report should contain the link for your video.

Guide students into the task, provide assistance to the students that

In this project, students will

1. do some research about the topic studied in the unit 1.

This project has to be submitted no later than Wednesday, January 31st

There will be three projects in the first period. The three of them will
have 25%. The aspects to be evaluated for this first period are the

Inclusion of grammar and vocabulary of the unit 30%

pronunciation 30%

grammar of the report and the speech 10%

Creativity in the presentation of video 10%

*You will need to highlight with a different color the grammar, the vocabulary and expressions
from the unit in the written report.
