Praise my gratitude to the presence of God Almighty who has given his grace to me. So that I
can finish this Project Work on time. Which is where this work project is called "Laundry
Business".

This project work is about history of laundry, what is the planning made by the author regarding
the laundry business and how the laundry business strategy will be implemented by the author.

Hopefully this work project can provide information to all of us regarding the laundry business. I
realize that this project work is still far from perfect, therefore criticism and suggestions from all
always expected for the perfection of this proposal.

CHAPTER I
INTODUCTION

1.1 Backround of the paper


In this modern era, women have the same opportunities as men for careers outside the
home. One of the modern lifestyles of urban people is washing clothes in special places or
known as laundry because of the limited time someone has, so washing clothes in laundy is a
practical choice nowLaundry kilograms are also the right choice for those who want to open this
type of business with a capital that is not too large.
Laundry business opportunities are business opportunities that are quite developed by
people at this time. Laundry is a form of service for those who always want life to be easier. The
location where the business owner makes the area owner's business is difficult to clean water.
Areas that are difficult to clean water really need a laundry business, especially for those
migrants who feel uncomfortable with the air conditions.
Laundry business opportunities will be able to grow rapidly if it is able to maximize
service to customers, both in terms of quality of laundry results, timeliness, and friendliness of
the waiters. If the business owner can afford it, it will be even better to offer and provide
excellent service in the form of pick-up and delivery of laundry products to affordable customer
addresses.

2.3 Organizational Structure

operational workers in the washing place, 1 person for washing, and 1 person for ironing clothes
and 1 salesperson as well as a shuttle officer
2.4 Job Description 
1. The administrative division (cashier) is in charge of receiving clothes that you want to wash
and iron, weigh and make notes of payment. If the consumer pays in full in advance, the note is
stamped "Paid," but if the consumer has not paid, then the payment can be made at the time of
collecting the laundry.
2. The finance department is in charge of determining the procedure for determining and
calculating the purchase of raw materials and making a balance sheet and income statement.
3. The operational division is in charge of washing and ironing clothes. After the clothes have
been washed and ironed, they are then tasked with packing the clothes according to the serial
number and number of clothes.
4. The marketing department is in charge of promoting the business

1. Wash and Dry Services
Provide services for washing and drying clothes. For washing and drying services, a fee of Rp.
5000 / kg. With good washing methods, such as:
a. Choosing clothes before washing based on the level of dirtiness. CNC Kuta does not combine
muddy clothes with everyday clothes because previously clean clothes can be contaminated with
dirt.
b. Do not soak shirts, pants, clothes, and others that are screened for too long for more than one
hour in detrjen solution so they don't get damaged.
c. In the last rinse, our laundry usually uses fabric softener and fragrance for the best washing
results.
2. Washing, Drying and Ironing Services
Provide washing, drying and ironing services.There is a fee of Rp. 6000 / kg for this washing,
drying and ironing service. For ironing services, CNC Kuta will provide the best services such
as:
a. Use clothes lubricant so that the ironing results are better, don't wrinkle and smell good.
b. For t-shirts and other clothes that have screen printing, ironed after turning where the ironed is
the other side so that the screen printing is durable, not damaged or faded due to hot
temperatures.
c. Ironing clothes according to the rules stated on the clothing treatment message label which is
usually on the neck or waist. Learn the temperatures that need to be set for each type of material
so you don't iron it wrong.
3. Shuttle Service
CNC Kuta also provides shuttle services to make it easier for customers. For this service, a fee of
Rp. 3000 and free for residences around CNC Kuta4. Coupon facility for consumers who use our
laundry service. Consumers who already have 10 coupons will be given a discount in using the
services we offer.

This laundry business was founded for reasons of the demands of the era which are all
instantaneous, the need for fast, clean and neat laundry services is starting to play an important
role in society, especially in the rainy season, when most households will find it very difficult to
wash and dry when it is rare sun. Good service quality from a laundry or laundry business is the
most important thing in providing satisfaction to consumers. Good service quality can also give a
good image to the laundry business. Service quality can be seen from the dimensions of
reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibility.
2.9 Pricing Strategy
For the type of clothing (including t-shirts, shirts, pants) calculated based on kilograms (kg),
Kuta CNC Laundry charges a price of Rp. 6000 / kg and the tone is also calculated per seed.

3.9 SWOT and Risk Analysis


A. Product Target
The product to be produced is a laundry service. The quality of this laudry service is the result of
clean, fragrant, neat, smooth and ready-to-use laundry. In accordance with the production
equipment capacity, the products that can be produced are in accordance with the targeted
number of consumers, with a working assumption (30 working days / month)
B. Target Customers
The targeted consumers are teenage students who live in boarding houses with an average target
number of 540 people per month or 6480 people per year, the public and hotel guests.
C. Target Income
The amount of net income that you want to earn each month is a minimum of Rp. 1,000,000

The strength of this business itself is that we are very committed to ensuring customer
satisfaction by providing maximum service (punctual, clean, and responsive to consumer
complaints)

The downside of this business is that considering that our business will be newly opened, the
laundry equipment such as washing machines that we may have is still limited.
3. Opportunity
The opportunity of this business is to remember its location which is in the area of education and
tourist attractions that are crowded with residents. We already know that there are so many
students and female students and people who do not have time to wash at home who need this
laundry service.

The threat that may arise is the increasing number of competitors that have sprung up and
offering cheaper prices compared to our business.

Risk Analysis
Some of the risks faced by Laundry CNC Kuta are:
1. Clothing that is exchanged with other consumers.
2. A white shirt that doesn't look white anymore (the color becomes dull).
How to Clean N Clear Laundry Good in overcoming these risks are as follows:
1. To deal with the changing circumstances of consumer clothes, CNC Kuta provides signs in the
form of names on consumer clothes and if there is a direct request by consumers, Clean N Clear
Good Laundry separates washing clothes by name. And distinguish between colored and white
clothes, as well as record at the beginning of the washing entry.
2. To overcome white laundry, Laundry CNC Kuta separates the laundry from colored clothes.

4.1 Conlucion
Based on the description in the previous chapter, in the preparation of this Kuta CNC Laundry
business plan, there are several conclusions that can be stated, namely:
CNC CNC Laundry business planning takes into account several aspects, namely market aspects,
production aspects, HR analysis, business development plans, IT utilization, and risk analysis.

4.2 Suggect
1. The need for increased employee motivation to be more able to work optimally, so as to
produce quality services and increase sales.

2. Oriented to meeting the needs of consumers personally, so this laundry has a strong
commitment to be able to meet consumer needs for clean, good and fast laundry by means that
each consumer's laundry will not be mixed with other consumers.
3. Affordable prices, because the target market is students, students and employees who have
limited money, the laundry service fee is made to be affordable for them.
4. Selection of good, resilient and responsible employees will greatly support business
development.
5. A good promotion will also be the key to the success of this business.
