competitors in extreme sports in 2003.

Overall, Rollerblading was the most popular sport in total. Furthermore, female
is much higher than male in the percentage of taking part in this game. In contrast,
Snowboarding is the sport with the smallest participation proportion and the
percentage of female is lower than male.

the percentage less than 10. In generally, Snowboarding percentage is lower than
Mountain climbing in the proportion of participation. The female percentage of
Mountain Climbing is about 9.3, which are about the same with that of male, 10.6.

with the participation proportion higher than 10. Among these sports, the
percentage of males was higher than that of females except for Rollerblading. In
particular, the male figure was greater than that for female by about 9.4% in
Mountain climbing, and 13.7% in Skateboarding. However, the percentage of
males was less than that of females by around 10 percent in Rollerblading.
